October 18 was Becca Triemstra's baby shower. We are looking forward to seeing that baby!

Our friends Jeff and Carmen Mercer got a Weimeraner (I hope I spelled that right). We had a good time making applesauce together and playing with the dog.

I have decided to resurrect our defunct blog in order to make an official post and keep record of the finally completed resto-vation of our Parlor! Now, The Moment You've All Been Waiting For!

Having decided to make a fashionably late entrance, the baby has finally decided to grace us with her presence! Oh, but there has to be a little bit more anticipation than that! On the 4th of July, Steph and I decided to take a somewhat risky (given her condition) trip to Muskegon, MI to visit the Johnson clan. It proved to be a beautiful trip. While we waited for lunch at Grandma's, Stephanie and I went to the channel to enjoy the beautiful weather and watch all the boats. Can you tell that Steph is eight days overdue? Stephanie wanted a picture of me, so I took this self portrait. I think it captures my 'essence' quite well!
