Christmas is coming!

Image
Adelle shows off her ruffle-romper  Christmas-tree cutting time!  Kevin did the hard work of cutting, while we looked on.  The tree is a monster!  It looks beautiful in our living room.  I spent some time photographing Aundrea and Adelle, to make a Christmas card.  I'm late on this, I know, but I really wanted to have a Christmas tree first.   Aundrea the fairy/angel  The following sequence is Aundrea singing "Go, tell it on the mountain!"  wearing the Christmas cape I made her...  Getting a nice picture of both girls was harder than I anticipated.  I think Adelle was actually more cooperative than Aundrea.  this one's just funny  pretty baby loving that Christmas tree

Life with 2 kids - catching up

Image
This is a catch-up post again, as many seem to be.  It starts way back at Halloween time.  We didn't actually go trick-or-treating on Halloween, but a few nights before, I (Stephanie) took Aundrea to a trick-or-treating event in downtown Ionia.  Aundrea was dressed as Shirley Temple.  Mostly it was just fun to get her all dressed up, and she was actually wearing tap shoes, which made a nice sound as we walked down the street.  diving into a brownie :)  Cleaning out a pumpkin  Adelle snuggles on Grandma's shoulder (above) and in Great-Grandma's arms (below)  First smile captured on camera.  Also a time of bad baby acne...  A visit to Kevin's parents in Erie, PA  Kevin's parents came over for a long weekend for Kevin's birthday and Adelle's baptism.  It is so nice to have our children baptised by Kevin's dad  3 generations of women baptised in this dress.  Adelle is actually the 2nd baby in the fourth generatio

Introducing Adelle

On October 7, we were blessed with another healthy baby girl.  Adelle Charis Anderson was born at 2:02 in the afternoon.  Labor and delivery went very well.  Adelle weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz and measured 19.5 inches long.  proud Daddy  Aundrea was fast asleep when she first arrived at the hospital with Stephanie's family to visit  Once Aundrea woke up, she was quite interested in her new baby sister  uncle Derek and Adelle  aunt Tracie  Aundrea holds Adelle for the first time  coming home  Grandma brought Aundrea home  It's a little scary having a 2 year-old around a newborn, but Aundrea loves Adelle very much  Adelle and great-grandpa Anderson  Adelle and Aundrea - the start of a beautiful sisterhood (we hope!)
