Every summer, Kevin's Johnson side of the family goes camping at the state park in Ludington. We drove up and spent 2 days with them. It's an active bunch, and volleyball was a favorite pastime.

We weren't quite up for camping with a 3 week-old baby, so we spent the night at a lovely bed and breakfast in Ludington. Aundrea passed out on the twin bed for awhile.

Back at home, I (Stephanie) just had to take a picture on Aundrea is this cute, old-fashioned outfit we got as a gift.


Sarah (my college roommate) came to meet Aundrea. As always, it was great to see Sarah again!

Aundrea is getting to be well-traveled. We spent the end of July and beginning of August in Erie, PA visiting Mom and Dad Anderson and Marcie. Sunday afternoon, we spent some time on Presque Isle, a favorite for dogs and humans alike. Kevin, Mom and Dad found some great sea glass on the beach, and Ein and Otto went swimming. I just enjoyed watching and "wearing" Aundrea.

I sent Ein "through the chute" in the creek by Mom and Dad Anderson's house. It's basically a narrow, deep part with a current.

Working on the House

Just in case you were wondering what I've been doing with my time here these last few weeks, here's an update! First, when we moved into our house, one thing that was immediately apparent was that our Master Bedroom was about 10 or 15 degrees colder than the rest of the house at night. This made sleeping, and especially getting into bed rather uncomfortable. As I've mentioned, the Master Bedroom was an addition that the original builder built for his mother in law, so it is the only room in the house that does not have basement underneath. The problem was, I had no idea where the access to the crawlspace was. Then, one day, I was in the bathroom down stairs, doing what you do in a bathroom, and I noticed a funny looking panel on the wall that just didn't seem quite right for where it was. An Update of Cosmic Porportions

Ok, so it has been a preposterously long time since we last updated this thing. My main excuse is that, as we did not have our own house to live in, I couldn't update as I didn't want to put a bunch of pictures on my in-laws computer, but if I'm honest with myself, I was just being lazy. But here it is! Rejoice, masses, for the Andersons have returned to the internet! So the last time we updated, we had just returned from a nice vacation to Michigan for Tracie's wedding. While we were there, Stephanie applied for jobs, since the odds of me retaining my job at ACA were diminishing by the day (although to this day I have not received official notice of my termination, although it is clearly assumed). Well, she got it, and so two weeks after she got the job we were packed up and heading back to Michigan, for good. Stephanie is forcing me to update...

...so here I am. First off, we had our last Friday at Ski Club this week. Last Friday I took myself out fairly early going over a jump and landing squarely on my rump, making walking, standing, sitting, and just about any other form of existence you can think of fairly painful. Well, I could still feel it a little on Friday, and it was pure ice. So what do I do but go ahead and try the same jump...and do the same thing...and make the same posterior injury even more of a pain in the rear ( hahahaha ...I make myself laugh). So I benched myself at about 6 p.m. with another 4 hours of skiing to go. But some good did come of it. I was talking with Scott, one of the parents that was gracious enough to not only drive every week, but to take a truckload of hyperactive girls with him. Well, we naturally got onto the subject of how wonderful Ebay is, and he told me about how one time he just went through every category on Ebay .
